Throughout our Bridgestone years and well into our Airstep days, we proudly manufactured rubber underlay to suit Australia’s needs right here at our Dandenong facility in Melbourne’s Southeast.
In recent years, however, we have come to the conclusion that rubber underlay manufacturing no longer meets the needs of our customers, or our business.
Although we had four strong decades servicing the Australian market with our rubber products, we have switched our manufacturing focus to foam underlays, as they are more sustainable both for the planet, and for our client’s back pockets.
Put simply, we have made this decision as it allows us to provide more economical solutions for our customers, while also having a positive impact on the environment and the world around us. As companies strive to create a greener future, we want to be part of the solution, and this choice allows us to assist both our customers, and other businesses (such as Rip Curl and Foamco) to enhance their sustainability.
